Very thin and light Bokken. Originally used in the Naginata jiki shinkage school. Today, it is sometimes used in Aikido, notably in Leo Tamaki’s Aikido practice. Although it is very thin, the virtually straight blade and the density of the Service tree ( sorbus domestica ) give it a weight/finesse ratio that favors precision of gesture.
